Our Leadership

President, Principal-in-charge Christopher H. Byers, AIA, NCARB As President of the RBA Group, Chris manages both strategic and daily activities of the firm and ensures the business goals of our client's are met or exceeded by our collaborative team. Over the past decade he has brought to life a broad array of exceptional and ongoing client relationships.

Senior Architect Joseph D. Elliott, AIA, NCARB As Senior Architect, Joe ensures the firm's technical expertise is maintained through daily project quality control oversight, code and compliance review and construction administration. Joe's involvement in projects from inception to completion contributes significantly to RBA's strength in delivering projects that are technically refined and budget compliant.

Director of Design Timothy J. O'Brien, LEED AP, Assoc. AIA, Member ULI As Director of Design, Tim leads the firm's Design and Master-planning efforts by ensuring that RBA client's project aspirations are addressed with creativity, ingenuity and insight. With 24 years of experience designing significant projects nationwide, Tim works collaboratively with other leaders and studio members daily to create balanced designs that adhere to our client's performance criteria. Design oversight is his focus from concept to completion.

Director of Hospitality Steven E. Finch, LEED AP, Assoc. AIA As Director of Hospitality, Steve leads RBA in delivering exceptional projects that perform according to the specific requirements of the Hospitality Industry. His industry insight and experience in Hotel, Resort and Restaurant design provides the client-focused know-how that differentiates RBA from its competitors. Steve participates in the production and construction administration for all Hotel, Resort and Restaurant projects managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring quality control.
